EMS Industry Consortium iNEMI to Inaugurate Shanghai Office

The US-headquartered iNEMI (International Electronics Manufacturing Initiative) - a worldwide consortium of approximately 70 OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers), EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) providers, as well as equipment, materials, and software providers - announced that it will inaugurate its Shanghai office on January 16, 2008.
The industry-led consortium is dedicated to addressing the problems facing the electronics manufacturing industry at present. The Shanghai office is part of the iNEMI's efforts to extend its reach worldwide and will act as the regional center in the Asia Pacific region.
Prior the establishment of the Shanghai office, the iNEMI's China Collaboration Group has been in active for three years running.
